Okay, found it on github and done, however it should be fixed or there should be some notification in plugin store IMO.

I just made the update from 1.2.2 to 1.2.5 then 1.2.7 then 1.2.8 and my sieve filters have disappeared again

I've got the same problem. You must delete and reinstall the plugin. And don't forget to activate the filter in the config...

managesieve will not work in my environment I updated imscp to version i-MSCP 1.2.8 Build: 20150620.. after this I uploaded the RoundcubePlugins, changed the config.php to activate managesieve, activated the plugin, waited 2 minutes and looked for the pluginlist in roundcube:
