Your are right. I had missunderstand the announcements and thought it whould install roundcube, dindt look to the docs. Sorry for that. Thats not my nature. So thanks for clearing.

i run today into the same problem with an email which was assign as spam from ahbl and found this thread. in my opinion i-mscp should not run without spam protection e.g. policy-weight. i think in this case its enough to correct the configuration in next maintenance version. to leaf i-mscp without no spam-control would be a bad situation for i-mscp. think about people who installed i-mscp who want to use an easy to use and selfexplaining panel. if you remove pw, the system whould be out of the box unprotected against spam and those people who use this panel would run into trouble until they found a solution. what i mean is that some people are not pro's to have knowledge about any part of i-mscp (webserver, mail, ftp, ...) and these people want to use an easy to install and use system - what i like. so please distribute i-mscp with the best and secure configuration as possible, but not with an setup which got the less trouble so each one have to check all configuration files for himself. -
Wow das ist mal eine konstruktive Antwort. Danke dafür. Ich hoffe es melden sich noch weitere mit ihren Erfahrungen und evtl. technischen Details. Wie sieht es eigentlich rechtlich aus, wenn man bei OVH = Frankreich einen Server etc. besitzt? Dann dürfte doch deren Nationales Recht für IT und Sicherheit gelten oder? Wie sieht es dann aus, wenn man dort auf dem Server einen Shop laufen lässt? Ich vermute mal, man muss den dt. Richtlinien nachkommen und entspr. den französischen, oder ist das egal und man ist entspr. den "Firmensitz" verantwortlich? Nur son Gedanke... ,)
PS: die Preise bei OVH für den kleinsten root sind mit 98 Euro schon hoch, oder?

mich würde mal interessieren, wo ihr eure vServer bzw. Server laufen habt (1und1, Hetzner, Server4You, Strato, Netcup oder oder). Hintergrund ist einfach mal zu sehen wo die Mehrheit so zu hause ist
und was eure Erfahrungen in Bezug auf die Nutzung von i-MSCP dort sind (Probleme, Einschränkungen etc.).

Kurze Rückmeldung - ja so wirds gewesen sein. Daher merke, immer die Session, sofern notwendig, nach einer Quotaänderung, beenden.

und erst Mal vielen Dank fürs Testen - ich habe inzwischen den Dienst neugestartet, sodass die Session ebenso beendet wurde. Ob es geholfen hat kann ich später schreiben. Ansonsten weiß ich bzgl. der Trennung bescheid. Kann man eigentlich auf dem Server per Befehl direkt sehen wer mittels FTP verbunden ist und ggf. die Session beenden? Mh geht bestimmt - ist grad son Gedanke Bis später -
Hallo,
ich möchte einen Upload mittels FTP machen. Der Upload brach das erste Mal ab und meldete Quota exceeded - ok. Im Panel nachgesehen und ja es war zu wenig vorhanden. Quota um das 3fache des Uploads erhöht und den Upload nochmal gestartet. Nun nach ca. 30min bricht er wieder mit der selben Meldung ab. Ich stelle mir nun die Frage ob er die Änderung im Panel zu bestimmten Zeiten vornimmt und nicht sofort, bzw. wo das Problem noch liegen könnte.

Ok read that it was removed -ok. But i understand that the only reason is that big hoster didnt use that. But why? They only want to use an link or form over there own homepage? Right? Ok - good idea why not. But there is no technical or secure reason for that right? Only less coding support and the wish of big hoster, right? Beside is there an list who uses i-mscp and how big they are or some information about there infrastruction? Whould nice to read about some others and there success with i-mscp and the good work of all.
