  • bug while deleting subdomain with main domain as mount point.

    Hi,



    Just a short message about a bug I discovered after a user experienced it ; I didn't think it has been reported yet, at least, didn't find it.


    If we create a subdomain with a mount point to the main domain and then, we delete this subdomain, all data will be wiped for the whole domain (except /logs which are locked (in use)).


    For exemple:
    - Customer domain is "test.test"
    - I create a subdomain "sub.test.test" with a mount point "test.test"
    - Now I delete the subdomain "sub.test.test" => All data are wiped in /var/www/virtual/test.test

    @Nuxwin ==> I can give you the entire access to my test server if needed. No production data, only for testing.

  • proftpd problem

    One easy test, clear any iptables rules, and did a transfert test.


    If it succeed, something is wrong with some of your rules, if not, there is something else.


    If this is working when IPtables is cleared, if you want our help, we will need your set of rules (and this thread will be moved as not related to i-MSCP, but I prefer to be sure that this isn't related to it our software).

    I didn't speak a word of German personnally, so I didn't understand anything, fortunately, Google Translator is here to help me...

    @Ninos I take a look to the plugin, and I don't think I've the competences for it unfortunately.
    It will take me more time to understand all those lines of code than you to do the needed modifications I think^^

    What did you not understand ?



    - Delete all plugins installed ? (because all plugins will possibly broke your upgrade to 1.2.9)
    - Stop all i-MSCP services related ?


    After you did the update, you'll be able to re-apply your modifications (or do a "Listener file", recommended way, look on the forum) and reinstall the plugins (if compatible).
    Note that some plugin aren't free of use anymore (like PHPSwitcher).



    If you didn't understand something specific on the upgrade process, please, give us a little more details on what you didn't ;)
