You can already set maintenance mode in the panel, which should be enabled when you do any maintenance tasks... About any new module, I must say: No. The panel is not a CMS. You must manage such thing through your main site.

I think, thats not a bad idea. Like a Dashboard with Informations about the Hosting or such stuff. Maybe we should keep this in Mind for the 2.x Version.
