What kind of features you want see in next i-MSCP releases ?

  • For now we are focused on providing webserver administration panel.
I don't think so if we decide to implement mumble administration.
I will discuss this and I'll give reliable information.

We already discussed a lot about that (also for game servers). It's not our goal.

  • For me the most needed features at this moment are this:

    • A way to control the domain TTL
    • Edit and view the mail quotas from the control panel
    • Be able to use a domain alias as an alias for mail too (not only for web)
    • Use the control panel only under ssl redirecting non secure connections to their secure counterparts.
  • Some things that would be great in new versions:

    • Support to add WebDav directories
    • Support to add mailman mailing-lists (or similar)
    • Backup everything for a domain (sql, ftp, email!)
    • Send Backup to FTP (with backup quota)
    • Edit the time when backups start
    • Edit ssl certificates for admin interface inside the admin interface
    • Run I-MSCP on a own port and webserver (to reach imscp if apache is down)
    • Maybe: Add Amavisd & Spamassassin with webinterface Maia (http://www.maiamailguard.com/maia/wiki/AboutMaia)
    • An option to switch to only ssl for domains (https://www.domain.tld or https://domain.tld)
    • Possibility to add I-MSCP logins to fail2ban
    • AntiVirus for EMails
    • Option to ignore false alerts in rkhunter report
    • Option to send admin a EMail if rkhunter finds errors
    • Check for I-MSCP updates daily and send admin a EMail notification with version and changelog
    • Maybe: Switch from awstats to piwik
    • Enable/Disable awstats/piwik per domain
    • Edit postfix/dovecot ssl certificates

(Edited: replaced "plesk" with "piwik" as stats alternative ... my mistake!)

    ???

what sort of plesk do you mean?

IMHO plesk is an alternative (a bad one) to i-mscp and not to awstats....

Free web stat tools are awstats, webalizer (and forks) and piwik - the last one maybe would be cool to have installed via i-mscp - seems to be an alternative to google analytics....

  • ahm yes sry i meant "piwik" not plesk ... sry -> http://piwik.org/
