Dont know what to do now ?

  • @Taz-Mania

    • Content of /var/log/imscp/Plugin_module_SpamAssassin.log?
    • Deactivate plugin in database (search on our forums to know how)
    • Rerun installer

This is not related to i-MSCP directly. This is related to the SpamAssassin plugin. Next time, post in the right section (plugin support section).

    @mrpink

Any word about this problem? Another french encountered the same problem today with that plugin.

  • That error bugs me too.
But it seems to be caused by SpamAssassin itself:

As far as I understand, there is an error in the recent ruleset, causing sa-update to fail with

    Code
    1. config: warning: description exists for non-existent rule EXCUSE_24
    2. channel: lint check of update failed, channel failed

So, maybe we just have to wait until that has been fixed. ;)

  • @Nuxwin

Yes, that is caused by SpamAssassin updates. I'll check if it is really necessary to update the SpamAssassin rules eacht time by the plugin itself.

It makes sense to do that once during plugin installation. There is also the daily cronjob for regular updates and that should be sufficent.

  • @mrpink

Ok, but this doesn't solve the bug, right? Eg, the cron task will still fail ;)

  • Yes, if there are problems on the SpamAssassin updates, that won't help.
But that is not our problem and we can't do anything here.

Btw I don't have any problems with the updates. Maybe they already fixed it.
