P.S. : Any ideea when a stable version will be released ? I have about 20 server which need upgrading from 16.04 to 18.04, and also do you think an upgrade from the old 1.5.3 version running on Ubuntu 16.04 to the current one running on 18.04 is possible and it won't break anything down.
The new version will be released in few days. You'll be able to upgrade to Bionic Beaver, then to latest i-MSCP.

Dear community,
The next maintenance release for the i-MSCP 1.5.3 stable version is almost ready.. This new version will add support for Ubuntu Bionic Beaver (18.04), and come with a new networking configuration provider for netplan.io. If some people could test this new version under Ubuntu Bionic Beaver, that would be much appreciated.
You can find current snapshot of the upcoming maintenance release at... Edit (20181205) The next posts for new snapshot link.

- Dropping support for YubiCloud v1 protocol
The plugin implements the version 2 of the validation protocol.
- Dropping support for plain-text requests (http:// traffic over port 80)
The plugin make request through https by default.
- Dropping support for TLS1.0 and TLS1.1 protocols
The client provided by the plugin use cURL default. I'll see if we need enforce TLS 1.2.
- Dropping support for 3DES TLS ciphersuites
I'll see if we need explicitely set ciphers to use.

I think i'm not the only user who want to switch to maria db in the future cause it's provided by Debian Stretch.
Of course but ... remember that MariaDB 10.2 is provided by i-MSCP through official MariaDB team repository, not through Debian repository as the version provided by this last (10.1) isn't a drop-in replacement for MySQL 5.7. I'll do the test, either this evening or tomorrow morning and will post my feedback.

Well first, MariaDB is not recommended for Debian Stretch. The thing is that MariaDB is provided by Debian Stretch in place of MySQL... Now about upgrading from MySQL 5.7 to MariaDB, you should be able to upgrade to MariaDB 10.2 (not 10.1 as provided by Debian repository) wihtout too much difficulties. See https://mariadb.com/kb/en/libr…b-vs-mysql-compatibility/
First, you should backup all your SQL data, that is: the /var/lib/mysql and /etc/mysql directories. Once done, you must edit the /etc/imscp/imscp.conf file and change

Once done, run the imscp-autoinstaller script from the i-MSCP 1.5.3 distribution directory as follows:
If you want, I can test the migrration on my test server first. Then, I'll be able to give you the full instructions. Is that ok?
