    Hi,

I am considering to purchase the php-switcher plugin. What I can't really understand is the impact on the php-fpm, when changing the php version to a different version for one site. Will there then be a separate fpm/conf.d/ folder for that php version, and the concerned site?

And will an already established listener file still work with a different php version, for the same site, while other sites listed in that file are on a different php version? Or are there different versions of listener files, depending on the php version in use?

Sorry if these are stupid questions, I couldn't find an answer to this when searching the forums.

    Cheers

I really like the proxy forward option for a subdomain, to reach addresses with ports other than 80 over connections that only permit port 80. Since version 1,4.7 it works for me - but only on some forwards.

There are other forwards that don't work, although the entered forwarding address is correct and can be reached. I get an error 503. From the log:

    Code
    1. [Fri Jul 28 14:56:26.742497 2017] [proxy:error] [pid 28349:tid 140498503657216] [client my.ip.address:60914] AH00898: Error during SSL Handshake with remote server returned by /
    2. [Fri Jul 28 14:56:26.742503 2017] [proxy_http:error] [pid 28349:tid 140498503657216] [client my.ip.address:60914] AH01097: pass request body failed to destination.ip.address:5001 (myaddress.gotdns.org) from my.ip.address ()

What could be the cause of this misfunction?

    Thx for helpful hints
    Chris

    Hello all,

these questions are not related to i-mscp in any way - I just hope to find people here who have already realised what I am trying to achieve. And I couldn't find the answers to my questions elsewhere.

So I have installed the Roundcube-plugins-plugin (:-D) and with them came the Sieve filters, very well. They actually work (mostly), but I find it a bit awkward to configure them in the web-interface of my Roundcube Webmail and looked around for another solution. I found this Thunderbird Extension Sieve, which purportedly would allow me to create or edit filters out of the Thunderbird interface. Problem is: I can't get a connection to my server, whatever I have tried as server address and authentication (the IMAP credentials of the account should be fine, no?). Has anybody succeeded in getting this to work and could give me a hint, as to the address and the credentials needed?

Further, while moving messages to a desired folder works very well with the Sieve filters, marking messages as read doesn't at all. What is the trick to achieve this?

I am trying to reduce my dependency on Google, but I already miss gmail for its ease of filtering ... And Spam combat - but that's a different subject.

    Cheers

    Hello all,

since this thread is closed, but I am facing the same problem, I open this new thread.

Problem: forward to a gmail address fails - no return, not landing in spam - it just vanishes. Forwarding to a non-gmail address works as expected.

I suspect the spf settings in the DNS to be the cause of this. Could someone explain me what value exactly should be put there, so that gmail finds it acceptable? Also, what exactly should be put in the MX record of the DNS settings (various domains active on the server)?

I would appreciate some advice - thanks!
