I understand your ide. But still it would be nice to be able to iFrame a link of the hosting plan to a reseller promotion/webshop website. That way when changing something in a hosting plan it will automatically reflect on the reseller promotion/webshop website.

Regarding WHMCS and Boxbilling... The problem here is that they probably do not supply the payment option of the Danish credit card "Dankort". And if we should do any kind of sale of hosting plans through a webshop, it would be absolut nessesary that it was possible to use "Dankort"!

I am looking forward to be able to use the hosting plan again.

Just to add to this.

I tried to create a new hosting plan in the reseller (reseller now has 2 hosting plans). I then login as the customer and I am unable to find "Request hosting plan upgrade" no where.
I then logged in as reseller and try to find a function to assign a new hosting plan to the customer. No luck...
As I see, the hosting plan idea has no effect what so ever. It is just a bunch of data in the database.
I actually liked the idea that a customer could request an upgrade to a different hosting plan through the iMSCP panel. and in the same time a reseller could assign the new hosting plan to the customer.

I actually also liked the idea of ordering a hosting plan. We will never use some external billing solution (we will probably make our own system). We will always send a bill as PDF in e-mail to be payed normally. We will probably make some solution to have costumers paying by credit-card. But most of our clients are companies that expect a bill i the mail to pay.

I like the idea about having some sort of API to the iMSCP panel. But be careful about removing all this functionality from the panel.

Just updated to latest git.

I cleared all customers and resellers and started again. I made a new reseller and made a hosting plan (see attachment Screenshot_16).

I then made a new customer using that hosting plan (see the rest of the screenshots). But the new customer does not seem to get the hosting plan. The hosting plan does not take in to effect!

I think I have one more....

As you saw I disabled mail accounts for the customer (-1). But I still see the (and can access) the mail administration for the customer. I am also able to create mail accounts. But I am not allowed to login to webmail. But I can see the created mail account in the panel for the customer.
Could this have some thing to do with the fact that I enabled external mail accounts for the costumer?

We are documenting the installation procedure (I did a screencast) and I was a little confused when I could not get it to work as I thought it should. First I used some time to figure out that I was not just stupid. But what ever I did I got the same error.
So bottom line - It had to be a bug

We just installed the last github version. I have understood what you have removed and I agree totally. But after installation I made a reseller that has the following limits:
Domains: 50
Aliasses: -1
Subdomains: 150
Mail: -1
Ftp: 200
SQL DB: 200
SQL USR: 200

When I then login as the reseller and make a Hosting Plan with the following limits:
Max Subdomains: 3
FTP: 4
SQL DB: 4
SQL USR: 4

And so on...

I then try to make a customer with that hosting plan and get the following error:

Is there something here I am missing or are you just not finished debugging after removing billing module?

Just to add to this...

It seems that I was wrong (sort off).

When logged in as "Admin", and from there change to a reseller that has another logo file in it's profile. In that case it is still the "Admin" logo that shows on both reseller and customer pages.
But when logged in as the actual reseller, the logo is actually changed to the reseller logo. And it is still the case when the reseller shifts to it's customers.

So as first assumed that this was a bug, it's actually acting as it should.

[c0urier] I tried your step by step dooing on a ubuntu installation. Did not work, actually it crashed the whole setup of IMSCP (just an apache error "not found" screen at the end).
I can't show you because the server has been deleted. Sorry.
