Apache2 permission problem (libapache2-mod-php5)

Hi,
till I-MSCP version 1.2.3, wordpress work perfect.
now at 1.2.6, 1.2.8 wordpress can't update theme, language, plugins, even upload photos on post.

You will tell me maybe: "hey, it is a wordpress problem not I-MSCP". No it is not !
Why at version 1.2.3 work perfect and now not ?

I change permission to folders at 775, 777, but i think this is not good for website security !

any ideea ?

Just for the fun of it, what does the apache log say when you try to update and it fails?

Before changing anything manually, you should think a bit... Some important bugs were discovered in i-MSCP, which will be adressed in version 1.2.9.

To resume: Wait the next release which will come soon.

BTW: As @c0urier said, you should provide us the logs when you're reporting a problem. We are not magicians.

Lvl up to 1.2.9 and i have still same troubles with permissions.

You must fix the permissions yourself through FTP !

Is not a directory managed by i-MSCP.

If you don't figure alone, give me an access to your server.

I change permission for that folder to 755. I think is dangerous if I change to more !

Hi,

I think there is another problem. Which user and group is set to the folder "upload" respectively "wp-content"?

I have many wordpress installations and never once such a problem.

@Backdraft007 such errors mostly only occurs, if a customer upload his webinstallations or unpack the archive via ssh.

You surely mean SSH as root or any other user than the customer unix user which is created by i-MSCP ? If you use the InstantSSH plugin, this should not occur.
