Gmail spam

  • If i-mscp send mail with mail() to gmail, mail arrive in spam folder.
    (on integrated function sending mail to gmail, example recover email) mail arrive in spam too.

  • your mail server needs a reverse DNS (rDNS or PTR) record for it's IP address to match the server's hostname. otherwise Gmail and others view it as potential spam.

    Hi, did you find out of why your emails are going to Spam folder of Gmail?
    I have the same issue as well with Gmail and Yahoo mail. I use PTR and SPF/DKIM.
    Would appreciate any insight on this issue.

  • Add to reversedns entry with your domain name was used at installation of imscp....(that's possibble at your server host administration panel)
    After entry was created your mail not landing in spam :)

  • Hello ;

    It's at your registrar level. Normally, your registrar should allow you to setup a correct reverse DNS

  • I had to call my ISP to create a reverse DNS for all of my static IP addresses.

    The DKIM with IMSCP helps a lot too but a great resource to see all the problems with your email is:
