djforce, a результат каков?

Виталий, понял, тоесть добавили в strict validation просто рф и пару других.

djforce, бери фукцию DragonzZX и включи в админ секции strict top level validation.

Фишка в том, что файлик этот как раз зенда и мне было сказано что в нем ничего не собираются менять.

хы, прикольно.
оставлять на урезаной функции ненадо, а то твои клиенты алиасов нахерачат, потом не будеш знать какие пропускать а какие нет. со словарем сидеть будеш

Виталь, осталось прошить альтернативный pattern (в else) чтоб при выключеной strict top level validation кириллица тоже работала. там эелементарный регех. моя перва попытка ве прокатила, где \p{Cyrillic} добавил, потомучто оно не совместимо с кодировкой utf-8, оно для допотопной win1251.
тоесть надо просто разширить на все алфавитные utf-8 знаки.

ща погуглю. как разберемся я в мастер залью.

А если проблема втупую в том, что кодировка не-utf-8? Поидее же без разницы какие символы ему обрабатывать?

Другой вопрос куда лучше писать шаболны - в строгий сектор или куда еще... А может вообще сделать сектор под названием IDN... Там же вплоть до арабской вязи.

Ticket accepted. I'll fix it this night. I'll surely remove the strict validation and the tld map which is more annoying than other thing... I'll backport the domain syntax checks from the MyDNS plugin. A generic validation is sufficient.
