Is it possible to enable the option so that the client can enable the browsing of files or the indexes from the configuration of web tools?
Can you clarify please? What you mean by web tools? Your customers should be able to enable the Apache Indexes option through an .htaccess file.

Thanks for the answer, I understand that from the .htaccess you can add the option, but I think it would be better than this within the webtools tab

Sorry but we will not implement such feature, at least in the 1.x.x Serie. Users can easily enable directory indexing by creating an .htaccess file. There is plenty of options for Apache and if we start to add one, that will be an open-door.
