trying to uninstall the plugin on panel 1.4 provides this error:

update changed in Mailman.pm the Hooksmanager to eventmanager

If you had that error, that is because you have updated your old i-MSCP version to 1.4.3 without reading errata files Next time don't forget them.

When you update from an old i-MSCP serie you must read first the errata file for that Serie (starting at your version), and then, read the errata for newest Serie.
