Upgrade error 1.3.16 to 1.4.1 (something with ip6_tables issue)

  • Good Morning,

I just did try to upgrade to version 1.4.1 (from latest 1.3.x) and have some error messages during upgrading (see file attachment). And maybe the output below gives you a hint what is going wrong (seems something with IPv6 issue). I alread did search in google and i-mscp forum but I´m a little bit afraid of doing some things that I really don´t understand fully and maybe it is getting more worse than right now...

My Server runs on Debian 8.7 Jessie

  • Problem solved. However, I don´t know exactly why... Just a simple reboot 8|

    My steps:
    1) Update/upgrade of all debian packages
    2) Start of i-mscp setup
    3) Error occurred
    4) Research via Google (one hint of a possible solution was to try a server reboot)
    5) Reboot
    6) Again start of i-mscp setup - everything works fine

    Have a nice weekend!

Problem was about kernel module failing to load (surely due to previous kernel version or because after last kernel update, the server was not rebooted).
