externer Mailserver - Version 1.3.8

  • Moin moin,

    Was habe ich vergessen???

    Bin am verzweifeln ?(

    Vielen Dank.

    VG

    I'm on the point to release v1.3.9... and some plugins too. Could you try to reproduce that issue and make sure that when using external mail server feature, domain is not added into the postfix domain lookup table (/etc/postfix/imscp/domain), and that the domain entry is correctly added in the relay_domains lookup table (/etc/postfix/imscp/relay_domains). Loopback issue should occurs only if the server send a mail to itself. Hence, when the domain entry is still present in the domain lookup table. Also please, make sure that default DNS MX records are removed.

    Thank you bro.

  • I also had this "problem", but it only occured if 123.123.123.123 was MY IP Address.
    So, external mailserver feature, as the name says, should be an external mailserver and not the same where you configured that feature...

    Please @Nuxwin, correct me if I'm wrong.

    Of course, by external mail server, we mean: remote mail server for which IP is not same as the i-MSCP server IP.

  • Hi,

    Domain is not added into the postfix domain lookup table.
    Domain entry is correctly added in the relay_domains lookup table.

    Where can i find the default DNS MX records?

    The remote mailserver ist not the i-mscp server ;)

    mail.domain.de -> IP: 123.123.123.123
    i-mscp-server -> IP: 223.223.223.233

    On your i-MSCP server do:

    Code
    1. # dig axfr <domain.tld>

    And for the MX entry, be sure that the IP is not same as one of your i-MSCP server IP.
