Update-safe plugin config.php

Hello,

at the moment each config.php file from each plugin gets overwritten while an update is performed. Is there any way to...

merge the new with the old config php to avoid loosing settings?
automatically generate backups of the previouse plugin folder during update process?

Merging conffiles is never easy.

However, there is a feature alllowing to create local conffile already which are never overwritten. See here: https://wiki.i-mscp.net/doku.p…local_configuration_files
If you do so, be aware that when you'll upload a new plugin version, you'll have to ensure that your local conffile fits with change made in the new version (if any).

Please close due to Plugin system config.php backup ... or just delete
