It was a fresh i-MSCP installation or a update? How did you run the installer exactly? With which options?

Another error in the various attempts to problem resolution was

    /etc/apache2/imscp/domain.ext.conf

<VirtualHost> cannot occur within <VirtualHost> section

Ok, I just made a fresh install on Wheezy 7.11 and all is ok. So here, if you do an update and not a fresh install, please be sure to not have any i-MSCP listener for bind9. If it is your case, just disable the listener by moving it outside of the /etc/imscp/listeners.d directory temporarely, or install the libdate-simple-perl package manually prior running the i-MSCP installer.

It is a bug that has been fixed in that commit: https://github.com/i-MSCP/imsc…be43809ab7928ac83caee25ad
