server monitoring

  • Munin is very easy installed to show nice graphs (like in your link). For live-triggering of events and problems I would suggest nagios or icinga.

  • I can recommend OpenNMS, it's the one I prefer over the others. I've been testing Icinga, Nagios, PandoraFMS, Cacti, Zabbix and Centreon - All in all it comes down to your taste, and all these products do a brilliant job if you configure them properly. Another one I found very useful for network monitoring that reminded me a lot about SNMPc is NetXMS, but that's only if you want two separate monitoring systems.

Best of luck finding your preferred flavor =)

  • Have a look at nagios, icinga, or similar to it. My favorite is icinga.

    That's it!
You can install it with aptitude:
    http://debmon.org

The rest seems to be simple to configure to use it with i-MSCP... I prefered to use mod-itk because the virtual host for Icinga should work with nagios:nagios!
I'd installed a cluster on work with this and this works fine!
