login ftp will failed if ftp account have non english.

Hello,
I have a domain name is 台灣愛犬.tw，The web can view.It's can login before change to vsftpd.
I have create ftp account.So the login account will show akong@台灣愛犬.tw
But it's will login failed when I use filezilla login it.

I also use akong@xn--kpr691ak1l5gc.tw to login it.It's the same error.Is it vsftpd not support it?

Hello,

VsFTPd doesn't support non-ascii characters in usernames. This problem is fixed in the 1.2.x branch. The fix will be available in the 1.2.18 version.
