How to build new packages?

Hi, I was looking into the wiki and in this forum, but I found only:

and the install/uninstall.xml

But what's the correct procedure to build a new package?

Do i have to install the software manually, create the install.xml and the uninstall.xml and the first script collect all the data (files, sql..) needed into a tar.gz?

Nope. The default_install has to be used to install, not to dump.

I'm trying to mod you Wordpress EN package. So far so good, just some problems with the admin password, but I bet it's a stupid mistake.

I need just one information. If I install wordpress manually my db is configured with ENGINE Innodb.
Your packages use ENGINE MyISAM.

May I use Innodb in the package?
In my configuration it's working in both ways

Anyway the italian wordpress is available at http://it.wordpress.org
When I complete my package would you check it out? (just for my first one ^^)
