Here, the problem is not due to i-MSCP. I'll fix it on your server.
For instance:
This is more a proftpd update issue than other thing.
BTW: You should be able to solve such problem yourself... Next time, search a bit before posting
Re;
Problem fixed by reinstalling proftpd. I've run the installer again. Result:
Hey - Thank you!
You've certainly made a lot manually, because I couldn't find myself the proftp-install problem
Thanks once more; I've send you some "salary" - I hope this is o.k.
Hope that it now runs without problems.
Have a good evening

Hi hempelr,
in your posted error you will find the steps to do. systemctl status proftpd.service and journalctl -xn. The output posted @Nuxwin.
In your case the module mod_vroot.c could not found by the system. @Nuxwin reinstall proftpd an the module is now available. So, it is not so difficult to found a problem in the system. Read the error and follow the tips.
This is no aproach, but a tip for the future.

I could remove the related line into the /etc/proftpd/modules.conf but I wanted prevent any other error. Thus, I've reinstalled the package
BTW: The mod_vroot module is no longer provided in the core package (since version 1.3.4~rc2-2). This is clearly stated in proftpd source package:
debian/NEWS file
Edit: The mod_vroot module is now provided by a dedicated package proftpd-mod-vroot, but anyway, we don't use that module ATM
