Our MySQL version is Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.5.57.
And our i-MSCP current version is 1.2.9 and I was trying to upgrade to the latest stable one 1.5.1.

Please let me know how to proceed, do you need finally anything from my side or you fixed it with the new update?

Otherwise, please could you tell me about the installation mode? Is it better to use Auto or Manual mode?
This is because as I said before when doing the setup of the install it is asking me for users and passwords of each service (dovecot, vsftp, mysql, phpmyadmin, ...) and I do not know if the ones being prompted are the same credentials used in the past, I don't want to fuck all the existing data.

Really thank you for helping me, I had an snapshot so I just rollback.
Now is as it was before starting the upgrade, there is some step I can do before start the installation to avoid the error?

And regarding the usernames and passwords, are the same I am currently using?

While doing the upgrade I got an error... And even with that is it normal for the setup to ask me for all usernames and passwords?
I received this server but I wasn't the previous owner so there is some info I do not know, are all the prompted usernames and passwords the current used? or, are they new ones?

In that case I went to the final of the setup and got the error I said:

Could you please tell me know how to upgrade safely the server without fucking up everything?

I am working on it.
Right now did the backup of /var/www/virtual and /var/mail/virtual .
Is there anything else needed to be kept?

Otherwise after doing the command "apt-get --assume-yes --auto-remove --no-install-recommends dist-upgrade" apache2 stopped working.

I looked for this error but can't understand why it happens, before it was working.

Any clue?

Got it working !

The command failed first attempt because it deleted a user a given an error that the user doesn't exist so I sent command again and worked.
Now the accounts appears in the Panel as ok status, and I can login to them in my email and even send emails but still the same problem to receive.

Since yesterday I created a couple of new email accounts and in the panel they appears as "Addition in progress..." and this is like this since yesterday, maybe 24h now.
Is it possible to force it to complete? I tried accessing the phpmyadmin to check with the status is and found the same.

I have been reading this old thread and my case is quite similar because I also tried creating one of the accounts directly from the phpmyadmin and I get the same error.
