To use the packaged version, you have to first install all the dependencies (install PHP8).
Only after you can register the packaged version.
PS : Install dir is not used from what I remember... it's only needed for compiled version.

When the user came to report an issue and doesn't follow the rules in place... we can be this rude.
With this addon, you can do either the compilation or the packaged version (which come from Sury repos if I'm not wrong).
Here, the user prefer to insist in compiling it and losing his time

Still an issue with broken packages dependency... and you still try to compile it.
Once again, as you fail to do so, just use the PACKAGED VERSION.

Now, if you persist to do the "compile way"... not our problem.
Remember this also : i-MSCP is just a tool to simplify your server management.
You NEED to know how to handle a server, else you'll get into a lot of trouble in a near future, pretty sure of this.
Look your mail queue on the server (to see if the mail is really sent), and... like the other post... check your logs.
