Really happy to report a bug.
Really happy to use a tool with so reacting developers.
I was looking to ISPConfig two or three days ago with all the working features (SSH jailed access with sftp possibility)... But I have such a good feeling with I-MSCP I'm not ready to change :)

    Thanks again.

    Hello

I just try to update with release 1.1.0-rc2 and it sounds sticked to 1.1.0-rc1.4
I tried to do the upgrade uzing the zip and with the tar.gz but at the end of the setup, I have a congratulation message telling me it's rc1.4 correctly installed.
When launching the panel, it's announced as rc1.4 and tell me there is an update available.
    I don't know if it's a display bug or a upgrade bug but it's a strange behaviour.

    Thanks

i-MSCP DNS management layer will be review as soon as possible since many bugs were found into it. For instance, during i-MSCP setup, you are asked for the domain from which the panel must be accessible and then a dedicated DNS zone (such as admin.domain.tld) is created. This way to process is wrong because if later you create the domain domain.tld from the panel (as customer account), an other zone domain.tld will be created. This will cause side effects such as unreachable domain (randomly on domain.tld or panel.domain.tld), depending of how the DNS of your FAI is working (DNS cache issues). This problem can be solved in two ways: Making panel.domain.tld a pseudo subdomain by adding it as simple A record in the domain.tld zone or by delegating it.

    Hello

I think I'm facing to this issue.
I've do the http://forum.i-mscp.net/Thread…0-Roundcube-version-0-9-0 procedure to have the last roundmail. But it has overwritten my config files (templates for dns).
    I'm trying to
    - allow the secondary IP as transfer for zones
    - replace the ns1 and ns2 by fixed names (same one for every domain)

But when trying to regenerate the config files (altering the ok status in the db then running the request-mgr) it crash on the domain as describe in your post.
    I'm stuck at this level.

    If you have any help...

    Thnks

    Hello

So, now four domains are SSL enabled on my single IP, thanks to i-mspc, it's great.
As I was in SSL action, I put also a SSL Cert for the panel itself.

    But I have two questions.
I saw the mail is SSL enabled by the same way, and that's great.
I also saw there are some settings made to secure ftp, but there is a problem there.

I'm using FireFtp as client and have three choices for secured connections (+1 for sftp but it's not the case here)

    • Auth TLS (Best)
    • Auth SSL (Better)
    • Implicit SSL (Good)

The last one use another port and no connection is made.
For the two first, it works, my password is recognized, but I have an error 425 when asking the content of the folder.

Googling this problem I found this thread ProFTPD support with a solution.

But, first of all, there is already a line in /etc/proftpd/proftpd.conf with another parameter. Should this parameter be added ? Or replaced ? Or a second line with the same name ? It's not clear.
Reading this page : http://www.proftpd.org/docs/di…onfig_ref_TLSOptions.html it seems I can add different options with a space character between them

Second point, will this modification disappear at next upgrade of the panel ? Where to store it definitively ?

When reading the config file, I found the link for the certs. As I'm not an expert, I'd like to know thow things, is it normal the CERT file and the KEY file points to the same file .pem ?

Is it normal in this .pem file I found the key, the certificate, but only one of the two intermediate certificates from Godaddy ? I'm using a double one as already explained, and it works with Apache.

Last point, regarding the mail. Will the webmail roundcube communicate via SSL or via normal connection ? I'm already invoking the webmail using the https url of the panel/webmail.

Kind regards for clarification and support.

    Hello

    I finally solved it.
The problem came from the password I put in extra field when generating the csr.
I made a new CSR without the password, ask a re-key to GoDaddy, and it's working now perfectly, already on two domains.
Next step, succeed installing ssl for mail, ftp, and panel :) :)

If it could help, I have bought certs for panel.domain.com, a second one for domain.com (the main domain of the server)
For my panel.domain.Com (access to i-mscp) the installation is done manually using the 00_master_ssl.conf and updating the imscp.conf to replace the no by the yes ?
Or is there other things to do ? With the interface ?

    Hello

When I read your errors, it seams you are trying to install the package list for Debian on an Ubuntu...
Is you Ubuntu up to date (sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade) ?
Is Ubuntu detected by the script ?

Yes, i-mscp works with only on Domain.

How do you add the Cert??

I go to the admin page of the panel, choose the "activate SSL"
Then go on the domain account, go to domain, show certificate
Filled the password, the key, the CERT and the intermediate.

gOOvER, you are also someone I trust and can give access to my panel if needed.
