Take a look in the database imscp => domains.
Is the domain still available?
The problem with your mysql... Did you changed the default mysql port 3306?

Telnet down is normal. If you activate this you open the doors for everyone..
Can you check the /etc/mysql/my.cnf for the paramter "bind-address"?
Maybe there is another ip than "127.0.0.1".
If there is another ipaddress you can't connect with localhost!
Are you sure that the domain not exist?

i tried to connect mysql with ,
localhost
localhost:3306
local host
127.0.0.1
127.0.0.1:3306
localhost.mydomain.com
mysql.mydomain.com
sql.mydomain.com
database.mydomain.com
and run this script (dbtest.php)
got , Unknown MySQL server host '#server4.mydomain.com.local' (1)
PS i'm able to connect phpmyadmin smoothly.
uninstall apache2 and reinstall it
run imscp script , got this error

What will be return if you call
hostname -f
On the console.
The problem with fcgi isn't a i-MSCP problem.
Use please the search function. Last week someone had the same issue
- if i call hostname -f is server4.horusone.com
- apache2: bad user name ${www-data}
