How to use passive mode on proftpd?

Nov 10 10:10:47 web1 proftpd[1480]: 192.168.2.240 - ProFTPD killed (signal 15)
Nov 10 10:10:47 web1 proftpd[1480]: 192.168.2.240 - ProFTPD 1.3.5rc3 standalone mode SHUTDOWN <-- This is stop point when I restart proftpd and proftpd not running.

Nov 10 10:11:15 web1 proftpd[2347]: 192.168.2.240 - ProFTPD 1.3.5rc3 (devel) (built Fri Dec 20 2013 18:05:41 UTC) standalone mode STARTUP <-- This is start point when I restart proftpd again and proftpd have running.

So,I need restart proftpd two times the proftpd will running.

What is the port range you've set in proftpd.conf?

If the lower port is less than 1024 then ProFTP won't start. See http://www.proftpd.org/docs/di…fig_ref_PassivePorts.html for more details. Try a range of ports 35000 to 50000 and see if that works

in proftpd.conf:

PassivePorts 35000 50000

I set range port 50000-50010.But it's proftpd problem not range problem.
