Most domain names get's no longer resolved

  • Hello,

Since 2 Days I've noticed that most of my domains don't get resolved.
The network driver broke up after a restart 2 days ago, so I replaced it with the previous version. Now the network is working again.

I'm using debian wheezy with the i-mscp 1.2.3 version.

    Thats my ifconfig:

I'm open for any help ;)

    Thanks a lot

    Best Regards

    Mena

  • Hello ;

Name resolving has nothing to do with your network driver. We need further info:

Do you uses your own DNS server?
Does the nameserver is correctly set for each of he domains (at registrar level)
Result of a dig a domain.tld on those domains (from outside and from the server itself)?

    Thanks.

  • Thanks Nuxwin, Yes, you're right.

The thing is it's curious that it worked always fine.

    As example: mxtoolbox shows this:
Unable to resolve "instantkey.ch" to an IP address

For a working domain I also get errors:

    9 Problems

    Category Host Result
https instantmedia.ch The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send. (https://instantmedia.ch) More Info
dns instantmedia.ch Local NS list does not match Parent NS list More Info

I'm using ns.ihosting.ch and ns2.ihosting.ch on all Domains / Providers, and as far I remember you helped me setting up this 2 years ago ;)

The Dig on the own Server showed this:

    Code

I could help you to solve that problem through online support but not today. I've already too many things planned today ;)
