NO Bug! Domain Disable Page

  • Hello,

    in ver 1.1.18 is following little bug:

    if the reseller set the status of a customer to deactivated, in customer web directory a folder /domain_disable_page is created by i-MSCP.

    if the reseller set the status of a customer back to activated, the folder /domain_disable_page will not be deleted.

    This has nothing to do with web folder protection bug from saturday ;)

    Not a big deal just a blemish.

    Greets, Chris

    @Chrissio

    I don't see any bug there. The domain_disable_page directory is part of the domain folder skeleton and therefore, is copied on customer creation. The customer cannot edit it nor delete it. Then, when the customer account is being deactivated, this folder is used has DocumentRoot for all domain entities (domain, domain aliases, subdomains) in place of the usual htdocs. This directory is excluded from quota accounting.

  • Thats correct.
    I haven't seen that all customers have this folder..., was thinking, that this folder is only created by deactivate a customer...

    Now have looked into this via ftp, user can not see this folder; the folder is visible only for the root user.

    Everything OK, not a bug.

    Take it all back and say the opposite.
