It's not a bug related to i-MSCP. Please, disable the plugins in the database (search on our forum to know how) and then rerun the i-MSCP installer. Once it's done, you'll have to update your plugins.

Surely because you entered the wrong password. In that case, you should use the debian-sys-maint user in place. You can get the password from the /etc/mysql/debian.cnf file.

Well, the plugins are now disabled. You can now rerun the i-MSCP installer. Once the update is done, don't forget to update the plugins. Also, don't forget to mark this thread as solved.
