Htaccess User and htaccess group

  • Hallo,

    I have many htaccess User and assign it to a group.

    At i-MSCP I see a long string but not all.
    I can not scroll to the right to see all.

    At the file "htgroup" are also not all users in.
    I thing the string has a limit.

    What can I do to solve the problem.

    Kind regards,
    Viktor

  • Hello ;

    Please, connect to PMA and look at the htaccess_users table from your i-MSCP database. Maybe some errors occurred. In any cases, try the following:

    • Set status field of all you htaccess user entries to tochange in the htaccess_users table
    • Set status field of all your htaccess group entries to tochange in the htaccess_group table

    Once it's done:

    • Enable the debug mode in your /etc/imscp/imscp.conf file
    • Run the following command and report me the full output

    Code
    1. # perl /var/www/imscp/engine/imscp-rqst-mngr

    If all goes well, all you htaccess user entries should be correctly added in you htusers files. On error, I should be able to say what was wrong with the output which you'll provide.

    Thank you for using i-MSCP

  • Hallo Nuxwin,

    I have test it and in the Log-File I see no error.

    I see that the file .htgroup has exactly 400 byte.

    When I add all User the file .htgroup the file has 467 byte.

    I think imscp write only 400 byte and not more.

    Kind regards,
    Viktor

  • Hallo,

    how can I do a Attachment.??

    There are 51 Log-File.?

    All Log-File looks like this.

    Code
    1. [Thu Feb 13 14:21:46 2014] [debug] Modules::Abstract::runAction: Calling action addHtuser from Servers::httpd[Thu Feb 13 14:21:46 2014] [debug] iMSCP::Ext2Attributes::__ANON__: Clearing 'Immutable' extended attribute on /var/www/virtual/yukons.de[Thu Feb 13 14:21:46 2014] [debug] iMSCP::File::save: Saving file /var/www/virtual/yukons.de/.htpasswd[Thu Feb 13 14:21:46 2014] [debug] iMSCP::File::mode: Changing mode for /var/www/virtual/yukons.de/.htpasswd to 640[Thu Feb 13 14:21:46 2014] [debug] iMSCP::File::owner: Changing owner and group for /var/www/virtual/yukons.de/.htpasswd to 0:33

    One Log-File is different.

    The string with the htaccess User in the file is 351 characters long and the last User in the file is not isolated.

    When I put all Users in the the string is 481 characters long.

    Kind regards,
    Viktor
