thunderbird filesystem notification initialization error

    Hi...
    In another thread i'd shown a failure with thunderbird and IMAP:

    Now i'd searched with google and found a lot of threads with this problem.

    But if i want to install "gamin" the system (Debian Squeeze) will deinstall "libfam0".


    Is there a problem with imscp if i deinstall this package?
    Maybe we should use "gamin" instead of "libfam0" if the gamin is the correct solution.

    I tested. With dovecot there is no problem, but problem appear with courier. So I added libgamin0 as dependence for courier. Please test r5100. Is more like a Debian bug since is we do not use libfam0, nor install, but is dependence for other package.

    Yes. libgamin is a replacement. Libfam0 is needed only for nfs shares

    So you do not get that error :p. I think this is exactly what Sascha wanted to test :)

    funk dovecot :P God, i know very well courier but now, I must also learn dovecot...


    BTW: @Daniel: In postfix master.cf, I see now a deliver for dovecot... Can you explain me what it about ? Normally, Postfix have this own deliver. Better, explain me how you use dovecot ? Only has IMAP, POP server or another too ? Sorry for my stupid questions but I'm very curious about that. Of course, I'll learn dovecot ASAP but for now, I'm restricted (snif...)
