  • hello, good evening, everyone, I have been researching online, and I've tempting to ditch me the idea to replace apache by LiteSpeed system, the reason is simple, say it works 9 times faster than Apache and there are various opinions good about it.

    My question is, is it possible to replace apache by LiteSpeed,??

    Hello ;

    Here, you are talking about performances for serving static files. In that case, you should use Nginx as frontal + Apache. An addon will come ASAP for Nginx.

    In term of performance for static files, we get in order:

    • Nginx
    • ligthHttpd
    • Apache

    Well, the implementation for nginx is on the road but I've some priorities such as the next i-MSCP release on which I'm currently working on. I've not do any test but I known that some of us (such as c0urier) that are already using NGINX + Apache with i-MSCP for performances reasons.

    Thank you for using i-MSCP.
