PhpSwitcher Couldn't find any download URL for the PHP

  • Hi,

    Distro: Debian Jessie 8.11

    i-MSCP 1.5.3

    Build: 2018120800

    PhpSwitcher version: 5.0.3

If I try to add a new PHP version, the following error comes:

    Code
    1. # perl /var/www/imscp/gui/plugins/PhpSwitcher/PhpCompiler/php_compiler.pl 7.2
    2. [INFO] Scanning PHP site for the PHP 7.2 sources...
    3. [ERROR] Couldn't find any download URL for the PHP 7.2 sources - Skipping

With PHP 7.3 is the same error.

I have no any additional information in logs.

Any idea what can I do with it?

    Thank you!

This is not a bug in the plugin. Please make sure that your server can reach out the outside world... Make sure that DNS names can be resolved and so on...

    Thank you the idea!

I checked now, and really.... can't get php.net's IP.

I don't know why, but now I added to /etc/resolv.conf

    Code
    1. nameserver 8.8.8.8

And now it seems to be ok.

So this was a DNS names resolving issue as suggested in my previous answer ;)

    You're welcome ;)
