Probleme mit der Migration von Subdomains Confixx --> I-MSCP

    Hallo,


    ich habe ein bischen überlegt, ob ich mich traue diese Sachverhalt auf Englisch zu schreiben. Ich machs jetzt doch auf Deutsch...


    Ich arbeite im Moment an einem Migrationsscript, was Confixx-Web-Account nach I-MSCP migriert. Wenn das Skript soweit läuft möchte ich dies der I-MSCP Community zur Verfügung stellen, weil ich I-MSCP als einzig wirkliche sinnvolle Alternative zu Confixx sehe und mich dafür bedanken will. Das Skript ist bereits fast fertig!


    Ich habe jetzt nur festgestellt, das ich noch Probleme mit der Migration von Subdomains habe. Dies kann allerdings damit zusammenhängen, das ich von einem mod_php System auf ein mod_fcgid System migrieren möchte.


    Damals als ich mir VHCS und Omega angesehen habe war das auch schon so. Ich hoffe Ihr könnt mir helfen.


    Unter Confixx (mod_php) ist die Sachlage ganz einfach:


    Domain: test.de
    Forum: test.de/forum


    Man legt unter Confixx eine Subdomain an die lautet: forum.test.de verweisst auf /forum.


    Das habe ich mit I-MSCP probiert, aber ich bekomme in der Strukur oberhalb von /htdocs einen Ordner angelegt mit dem Namen forum.


    da ist dann wieder ein htdocs, cgi-bin, domain_disable_page drin.


    Also habe ich den Einhängepunkt innerhalb von test.de/htdocs gesetzt, in der Hoffnung, das dies dann nicht so ist. Trotzdem bekomme ich die Ordnerstruktur.


    Macht das eigentlich sinn? Warum ist das so? Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich das elegant lösen kann?


    Letztendlich macht mein Skript viel automatisch beim Umzug. Passt automatisch alle Pfade in der Kundenverzeichnissen an und sucht nach den MySQL-Zugangsdaten und passt diese an. Es werden auch die Persönlichen Daten übertragen. Das Problem ist nur die Pfade in den Kundenverzeichnissen stimmen dann nicht mehr und man muss doch wieder händisch dran...

    I don't understand all of your german words but as I see, you are talking about web tree structure. So, I would recommend you to wait little before doing any migration script for confixx since we'll move to static mount points ASAP.

    ...my confixx migration script works, when customers don't use subdomains...


    ...i migrate this customers first, and then i wait for the next rc to check my script, before i give it to the i-mscp team or the community.

    i found a workaround, but i think it ist not a good solution.


    Ich make a symlink from /var/www/virtual/test.de/subdomain/htdocs
    to
    var/www/virtual/test.de/htdocs/subdomain


    It works...


    That solution is normal, in plesk i had to use it many times too, when you need the data in both "directories" there is no other "good" option....


    but you should only link from htdocs to another htdocs - let other directories out of the box!


    problem is when you do it your way you get duplicated content on http://maindomain.xx/subdomain
    if you don't want to use the folder subdomain, why you dont place your files in /var/www/virtual/test.de/subdomain/htdocs ?
    In this case i only see an option: .htaccess file in subdomain/htdocs that is redirecting users to the subdomain
