I'm going to upgrade my Debian Wheezy to Jessie following this article.

I gather the update of OS will not break my version of I-MSCP? I will upgrade I-MSCP to the latest version after I'm on Jessie.
Any gotyas or extra information most appreciated for anyone thats done this process.

The OS upgrade will break your i-MSCP installation.
But after OS upgrade it is easy to install the latest version of i-MSCP.
Before you start the OS upgrade, disable all i-MSCP plugins and remove the listerners. So you will not have any problem with this.
After the upgrade of i-MSCP upgrade every plugin to the lastest version.

Take look in the folder "/etc/imscp/listeners.d"
If there is only a README file you don't had installed any listener. Otherwise move them in a folder "/root/backup_listerners"
