Problems with pre-existing Mailman lists

    I still cannot send any messages to lists that are pre-existing. I still get the error:


    Code
    1. SMTP Error (550): Failed to add recipient "[email protected]" (5.1.1 <[email protected]>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table).

    I do not have very many subscribers, so I just deleted my lists, recreated them, and I have no issues that I can see now. Just sending an fyi to inform of the persistent issue for existing lists .. Some people with big lists may not have it so easy to recreate their lists.

    Without further details, we cannot help.

    • What was the version of your Mailman plugin before upgrade to version 2.0.0?
    • Logs ???
    • ...

    Also, instead of removing lists by closing eyes, best would be to give us a chance to fix the problem.


    I hope that you did read the UPDATE.md file inside the plugin archive before updating.
    You can always give us access to the server for further investigation.

    Sorry, I do not need help, just saying there is still a problem somewhere with mailman. I am in the middle of my own stuff so I do not have time to investigate this any further and that is why I just deleted my lists and started over. I ALWAYS read the update and errata files before proceeding with anything ...
