Let’s Encrypt - Move to new Server

    i could not find any information on how to move with Lets Encrypt installed to a new server. What have to be to done to secure that the plugin will work as expected (e.g. renewal of existing certs)? Copy /etc/letsencrypt/?

    Copying the /etc/letsencrypt directory on new i-MSCP instance, preserving ownership and permissions shouldn't pose any problem.

    • On new i-MSCP instance, migrate your data as usually, including i-MSCP database and so on...
    • Copy the /etc/letsencrypt from old i-MSCP instance to new i-MSCP instance, preserving ownership and permissions
    • Copy the /var/www/imscp/gui/plugins/LetEncrypt directory from old i-MSCP instance to new i-MSCP instance, preserving ownership and permissions
    • Through plugin management interface, disable and re-enable the LetsEncrypt plugin

    You should be done.
