Packagist takes a little time for first install. but it's not about 1 hour. It's more about 1 minutes max on real servers. I'll retry on my test server with slow connection (max 600kb). I'll compute time.

BTW: packagist.org only host packages metadata. Package are pulled from github.

my install at first time take's about 20min. Maybe Github sometimes deliver slower
