ownCloud update

    Debian 8.5 / i-mscp 1.3.7 ownCloud 9.0


    Möglicherweise gehört das Thema nicht unbedingt hierher. Ich versuchs trotzdem, da ich mir extra das SSH-Plugin angeschafft habe.


    Beim Update mit dem integrierten updater in onCloud bekomme ich den Fehler:



    [UnexpectedValueException]
    Could not parse a response for config:list. Please check if the current shell user can run occ command. Raw output:
    Not allowed


    Daraufhin habe ich hier weitergemacht: https://doc.owncloud.org/serve…n_server/occ_command.html und kam dann auf die Idee, das InstantSSH
    Plugin zu installieren. Ich logge mich nun per ssh als imscp_user ein und kann


    php occ


    ausführen. Auch ein
    php occ maintenance:mode --on resp. off funktioniert.


    Trotzdem bleibt die Fehlermeldung dieselbe.


    Ein php occ upgrade sagt dann jedoch " ownCloud is already the latest version." Das stimmt jedoch definitiv nicht.


    Nachtrag: ownCloud liegt in einer Subdomain.

    Also ich verschiebe immer, bis auf das data und config Verzeichnis, alle Dateien und Ordner per FTP in einen Ordner (bspw. old). Danach verschiebe ich die entpackte neue own/nextcloud Version, bis auf das config Verzeichnis, in das Root Verzeichnis. Danach dann einfach die Webseite öffnen und das Update darüber ausführen.

    Ok so hab ichs dann gemacht. Nur schade, dass der "einfachere Weg" nicht mal einfach so funktioniert.

    I noticed owncloud and decided to check and see if I can help. I have used owncloud (now I use Nextcloud, forked from owncloud and all the best and original developers have moved to nextcloud) since its release years ago.


    From what I gathered by translating this via google, is you cannot ssh and have issues with occ commands.


    The only problems I ever experienced using ssh is that your ssh user is not in the same group for owncloud installation.
    Out of the box, the i-mscp ssh plugin works for me logging into and maintaining occ from command line without issue.


    I would double check your ssh user has correct ownership rights.


    Bulli is correct when saying the web gui update is an easy and hassle free way to go, but I understand wanting the command line thing going. I started on computers before anyone could even spell GUI ...I am telling my age now
