Error 500 but nothing in the logs

  • Hi,

in one of my domains, I noticed that apache returns a error 500.

The only hint I'm getting from the logs is in the /var/log/apache/domain.tld/access.log:

    Code
    1. xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - - [04/Oct/2016:21:19:25 +0200] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 500 1217 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.116 Safari/537.36"

but unfortunately nothing shows in var /log/apache/error.log and /var/log/apache/domain.tld/error.log

What else could I do to find the causing issue?

    Edit:
Found out, that it was during a sql authentication error and after correcting the crendentials its now working again. But still no clue, why it hasn't been logged.

  • You should learn a bit more about PHP. PHP is not apache2.
