Downgrade is not permitted on reconfigure

  • I was trying to reconfigure 1.3.1 on debian 8, so installer told me that downgrade is not permited (btw, services didn't turned back not after this error, nor after reboot. :S

  • installer told me that downgrade is not permited

If you get that message, this mean that you tried to dowgrade to older version... This is not allowed by the installer.

  • Nope, I understand that installer think so. But I'm trying to reconfigure the same version from the same folder. Logicaly it is not downgrade.

The installer raises this error only when the last applied database update is greater than the last available database update in the version you're trying to install. There is no error possible regarding the error message that you've received.

I'm pretty sure that you do a mistake somewhere. I can look through teamviewer if you want.

  • Tomorrow I will test it on vm, because this issue has been situated on the production server, I don't want to switch it off. So I will be able to give a 100% way to reproduce.
It's not the first time I see it. The last time it was during reconfiguring 09.09.16 trunk to 1.3.1

I'm sure that the problem is on your side...
