Installation Quits immediately after entering imscp database name

I am trying to install i-MSCP on a new Linode with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. Latest 64 bit 4.6.5-x86_64-linode

I have already attempted this on a DigitalOcean Droplet and have the same result.

The system has been updated and upgraded. Totally fresh server.

I start the install process using root user. Once I get to the point of entering the i-MSCP database name I am thrown out of the install process back to the command prompt in putty.

I have tried this several times with the same result. Both on Linode and DO.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hello,

This is a known bug which has been fixed in the development branch. You must either enlarge your SSH screen (with i-MSCP 1.3.0), or better, install latest 1.3.x using the following archive: https://github.com/i-MSCP/imscp/archive/1.3.x.tar.gz

I now recommend 1.3.x because there is many bugs that were fixed, specially for Ubuntu 16.04.

The 1.3.1 version will be released in the next hours.
