i-MSCP 1.2.17 - Debian 7/8 - Install Error

  • Hi community,

    I tried to install i-MSCP 1.2.17 on Debian 7 and 8 minimal.
    I copy & pasted all the necessary steps (commands) from the documentation.
    ¨
    During the setup I always receive this error:

    Why isn't it working?

  • Try to update all packages: apt-get update && apt-get upgrade && apt-get dist-upgrade && apt-get autoremove

    If apt-get don't return any messages anymore (errors, informations...), the installer should work fine.

    First of all, thank you very much for the fast response.
    At the moment I'm trying to install it again on a fresh Debian 8 with the advice from Ninos.

    Where can I find the full error output?

    We need content from the following log files

    • /var/log/imscp/imscp-build.log
    • /var/log/imscp/imscp-setup.log (should not exist yet because your error occurred during build process)

  • I tried to install it again on Debian 8.3 Jessie and also used this command "apt-get update && apt-get upgrade && apt-get dist-upgrade && apt-get autoremove".
    apt-get did not return any errors but the I-MSCP Installer showed the same error as I had at the beginning.

    /var/log/imscp/imscp-build.log

    Can I access your server through SSH and give a try?
