Hi guys,
my curent setup is:
I-mscp server as master dns server. I added 3 more ip addresses as second dns-server for replication.
the i-mscp server creates the folowing dns records:
ns1.customerdomain.com (imscsp ip)
ns2.customerdomain.com second dns #1
ns3.customerdomain.com second dns #2
ns4.customerdomain.com second dns #3
when i now try to set ns1-ns4 as the dns servers for the domain in the registration robot I get an error for missing glue records.
So I need to add 4 glue records for every customer domain to get everything green here: http://dnscheck.pingdom.com/ because i-mscp is using different nameservernames for every domain.
What is the best practice, doing it easyly and time efficient?
Anybody know a domain robot and second dns provider with nice api to chain it with i-mscp for automatation of registering domains and adding a second dns zone?
The best solution whuld be to configure i-mscp that it uses the same nameservers for every domain. So I don't need to setup 4 glue records for each domain.
Edit: And if the IP address of the i-mscp server changes, i need to edit every customer domain, because each customerdomain has it's own dns servers.
Thank you for your response!
