    here an update on this ...
    a customer asked me to enable DNS lookup in his awstats.conf, after I removed it and set it back to default I do no longer get the error message
    I will close this thread because it's not imscp related.

    this morn I received same message again ... but if I try to run the command in shell there is no more error:

    seems there is a problem in current release with the browser language (safari)
    the customer get's an error message > unknown error please contact your administrator
