    Hello Nuxwin,
I have set the password in debian, cnf and I'm able to login as debian-sys-maint ...
but this morn I received the same message again:

    Code
    1. /etc/cron.daily/logrotate:
    2. mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed
    3. error: 'Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)'
    4. error: error running shared postrotate script for '/var/log/mysql/mysql.log /var/log/mysql/mysql-slow.log /var/log/mysql/mariadb-slow.log /var/log/mysql/error.log '
    5. run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate exited with return code 1

    thanks!
I think I must be going senile ;-)
so I guess there is no need to run the sql queries when migrated a complete msql dump?

    - IMSCP: 1.4.7
    - Distribution: Debian 9
    - Proftpd
    - PHP FCGID
    - MariaDB 10.1
    - Courier
    - Roundcube
    - Web2FTP

after migration (full mysql dump) I get a logrotate error message, the password part in debian, cnf is empty ... how can I fix this?

    Code
    1. Cron <root@host2> test -x /usr/sbin/anacron || ( cd / && run-parts --report /etc/cron.daily )
    2. /etc/cron.daily/logrotate:
    3. mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed
    4. error: 'Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)'
    5. error: error running shared postrotate script for '/var/log/mysql/mysql.log /var/log/mysql/mysql-slow.log /var/log/mysql/mariadb-slow.log /var/log/mysql/error.log '
    6. run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate exited with return code 1

I did a migration yesterday and checked already the IP address for possible blacklistings ... the IP address is clean
but it seems there is a cisco router blacklisting from Talos which need some time to be fixed by the datacenter ...

My old system from which I have migrated is still running, would it be possible to route only all outgoing mails to this server and incoming to this until the problem is solved?

    ### edit ###

    problem solved by datacenter

I guess there is a problem w/ mysql after migration ... any idea?

    Code
    1. /etc/cron.daily/logrotate:
    2. mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed
    3. error: 'Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)'
    4. error: error running shared postrotate script for '/var/log/mysql/mysql.log /var/log/mysql/mysql-slow.log /var/log/mysql/mariadb-slow.log /var/log/mysql/error.log '
    5. run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate exited with return code 1

@ Nuxwin, can I ask you for help w/ the migration process?

trouble w/ net2ftp ... I have already set it to net2ftp in imscp.conf (prevous imscp used pydio)

    Code
    1. [ERROR] Package::FileManager::uninstall: Can't locate Package/FileManager/Net2FTP/Net2FTP.pm in @INC (you may need to install the Package::FileManager::Net2FTP::Net2FTP module) (@INC contains: /usr/local/src/imscp-1.4.7 /usr/local/src/imscp-1.4.7/engine/PerlLib /usr/local/src/imscp-1.4.7/engine/PerlVendor /etc/perl /usr/local/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl/5.24.1 /usr/local/share/perl/5.24.1 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl5/5.24 /usr/share/perl5 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl/5.24 /usr/share/perl/5.24 /usr/local/lib/site_perl /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl-base) at (eval 1078) line 2

    edit:
    Update 1.4.1 error Net2FTP

OK, got it - migration wnet well ... so far ;-)
but it would be nice if you could re-check everything if possible ... I will pay for the service
