Yes I know
We could create a perl script that runs in shell and shows result in panel.
When panel is down, the script can be called directly

FYI to keep track of this task, I have put it in our issue tracker (YouTrack):
http://youtrack.i-mscp.net/issue/IP-1718Any discussion about this subject can be done in the tracker.

I discourage writing code with deprecated functions, since it will not work on older PHP versions, you can use mysqli_connect or PDO for database queries.
If you have to use mysql_connect, you can use PHP Switcher, which is a paid plugin for i-MSCP.(mysqli_connect() with p: host prefix)
-
Nope, it's on Mac OS X Apple Mail, the latest version.

Hi!
All that @kess said is correct, didn't expect anything else
One big IF.Question: Where do you host your email? Is it located on the same server as i-MSCP? (cq: do you have external email server enabled or disabled).
Note that when this is not enabled, there will be a correct SPF record already. -
Interesting. I'll report back if I find anything.

Hi @Nuxwin,
Thanks for checking out this situation.
I visited the client just now and configured the account in Outlook for Mac, this way it worked just fine.
Just Apple Mail seems to be complaining. Maybe Apple Mail doesn't support the plaintext or normal password tls/ssl login? -
Hey @Nuxwin
Logging in on Apple Mail with normal password auth over TLS (587), it asks for a password when sending an email. IMAP works fine, SMTP asks for password.
Important note (also for other mac users)
Yosemite & ElCapitan Mail.app have the new "Automatically detect and maint account settings" option. This will cause Mail.app to attempt Digest-MD5, and thats when you might see dovecot crashing.
So we cannot use this feature, I manually set port to 587, selected TLS and normal password auth (because of this).
Server info
1.4.3 on Debian Jessie, Postfix/Dovecot.
Error when password is requested: "Apr 24 10:11:04 jessie postfix/smtpd[25151]: warning: revdns[ip]: SASL LOGIN authentication failed: code"This may or may not be related to the known issue about the unknown namespace trash, which is resolved already.

Hey,
I'd like to get in with some ideas, we could create a small marketing kit with something about these subjects:
- Laurent telling a little bit about himself
- What makes i-MSCP different from the other 1000 panels
- Short and long term plans for the project
- Obligatory: Security and managability
- A short TCO, so everyone knows what they're in for.
There should be a few screenshots of USP's, the logo and maybe a pricing sheet in there.
