Just did read the info in the errata ...
I run Debian Squeeze (6.x) But its in a virtual container. (OpenVZ) So upgrading to
Debian ≥ Wheezy (7.x) will likely give some troubles.Normally i need a Debian ≥ Wheezy (7.x) Openvz template and reinstall I-mscp
So if this is the case. Is there a way to move the old I-MSCP 1.1.0.-rc1.4 (Eagle)
to Wheezy (7.x) ?1.) Or Better reinstall a old I-MSCP 1.1.0.-rc1.4 in a new Wheezy (7.x)
2.) Then move the old data into this new machine and then do the upgrade ? (Same old versions)
3.) Upgrade all to the newest ...
Can it be done with rsync as i used this before ? Or is there a other way ?
I have backups of the virtual container so if things go wrong its not a big issue.mmmh ? What is wisdom in this case ?

Dear all,
Its time to upgrade my really old I-MSCP 1.1.0.-rc1.4 (Eagle) I did follow this procedure:
How-upgrade-1-1-0-rc4-7Get this error:
# perl imscp-autoinstall -d
Can't open perl script "imscp-autoinstall": No such file or directoryIs this script not in this version or perl problem ?
Or is there a other way to do this ? Like backup all data my sql and directory, and restore this in a new version ?
What is wise in this case ? Yes i know i had to do this a few years ago ...Best regards to all of you ...

Rerun the updater with perl imscp-autoinstall -dr sql
And this will only update to the new root password and keep all other settings ok ?
Will be fine if that will work. Will try it tomorrow thank youIts a old version. That command did not work.
I did use /var/www/imscp/engine/setup/imscp-setup --reconfigure
And did keep al default and did only change the root sql password. Seems all is ok now. -
Dear all,
I did change the password of Mysql user root Stupid because i-mscp cant communicate any more
with his back end. Its a old version and i know its not supported anny more i-MSCP 1.1.0-rc4.6
(Will update after this is fixed)Is it the debian-sys-maint user that depends on the root password ?
I only like to change this in phpMyadmin.Must not be that complicated. Only need to know what user uses the same password as the root user.
Please some advise here I have a backup if all fail. -
I use a older version of i-mscp. Where can i find the sql user login to acces the database ?
Is ther a ini file to find this info ? user database password ? -

Dear all,
I did follow this instruction: http://wiki.i-mscp.net/doku.php?id=change_db_password
To change my i-MSCP database SQL user password. All went well. But when i try toto go to the file manager (ftp over gui) i get this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method AJXP_Plugin::getConfImpl() in /var/www/imscp/gui/public/tools/filemanager/core/classes/class.ConfService.php on line 204
All other functions seems to work.
I also noticed this message wen login into the gui: Couldn't check for updates. Website not reachable.
Is there something broken ?
