I have to migrate a i-MSCP 1.1.1 system soon ....
Does i-MSCP 1.1.1 still work w/ debain 8?
I will upgrade to latest after migration process.

Hmm I don't think so, but you can migrate your old version to new server and then run the autoinstaller of the newest version instead of the migrated version.

No migration as in all the howto's. Then rerunning newest version (currently 1.2.9 not 1.2.2).

just tested a full migration from 1.1.1 to 1.2.9 ... everything went well
great work guys & many thanks to Nuxwin!because of a usermod error in my first run I had to remove all vuuser by the following procedure:
Display MoreCode- service apache2 stop
- Edit your /etc/passwd file and remove any vuXXXX user
- Edit your /etc/group file and remove any vuXXXX group
- Edit your /etc/shadow file and remove any vuXXXX user
- mysql -u root -p
- use imscp;
- update domain set domain_status = 'ok';
- update subdomain set subdomain_status = 'ok';
- update domain_aliasses set alias_status = 'ok';
- update subdomain_alias set subdomain_alias_status = 'ok';
- update mail_users set status = 'ok';
- update admin set admin_status = 'ok', admin_sys_name = null, admin_sys_uid = 0, admin_sys_gname = null, admin_sys_gid = 0;
- quit
